MFW Street Style: The Moto Gang

The next time you're searching for that perfect Autumn jacket this season, try going for a leather motorcycle jacket - that's what the stylish set did in Milan during Fashion Week. This chic bunch edged out everything from t-shirts and jeans to polished plaid pants and killer platforms. I love the idea of pairing a slick motorcycle jacket with a silky femme blouse to balance out the opposites. Black not your favorite? Try out a brown or grey colour.

Tuesday Ten: Autumn To-Do List

Hey everyone, hope your all having a good week so far. It's been non-stop rain today which is really draining when your at school! The only time I don't mid it raining is when I'm indoors, with the fire on,  in my pyjamas, drinking salted caramel hot chocolate watching either Great British Bake Off or Britain's Next Top Model! So, this Autumn I have a lot that I want to do, this is my list so far...
  1. Take a lot of photography and make a collage on my wall
  2. Revise for unit 2 for my maths gcse!
  3. Make tons of salted caramel hot chocolate's
  4. Continue with morning yoga
  5. Buy a pair of brown boots
  6. Go out for a meal at Nando's with all my friends
  7. Celebrate my sister's 18th birthday!
  8. Clean, tidy and re-organise my bedroom and closet
  9. Ride the Boris Bikes in London with my sister around Hyde Park
  10. Go out for breakfast/lunch/dinner with my family to somewhere fancy
What are you planning to do this Fall? Please let me know in the comments box below!

Welcoming the Season

Hey everyone! I thought I would do just a bit of a catch-up. It's Autumn, finally, hoorah! Autumn is my favourite month, all of the leaves change colour (look at the picture I took above of the leaves, isn't it pretty?!), I've got my fire turned on right now, I've been drinking homemade salted caramel hot chocolate's, and I'm 100% embracing all things knitted. A few months ago I was on a walk along the river in Windsor and found a blackberry bush, I decided to go back there a couple of weeks ago to pick the last batch (see the picture) but there were only a few ripe ones left as it's now Fall!

So, this Autumn, I've decided to make a few changes to my blog. Not anything drastic just the content. Instead of literally just fashion and beauty, I'll include more of me in this blog. My everyday life, pictures, things I've been doing lately, recipes (talking of recipes, today I made cherry flapjacks and key lime pie!), and other bits and bobs. But, of course, the majority of it will still and always be fashion and beauty...that's what I love :) Hope you guys like the sound of the changes. Let me know any post ideas! Bye guys!

Tuesday Ten: My Favourite Gowns from NYFW and LFW

NYFW and LFW has been all about the finale dresses. The above gowns are all sexy, colourful, unique, statement, dramatic and (running out of words here!) truly amazing. I appreciate designer gowns are that are actually wearable, beautiful, simple and can be worn with just about anything. A big trend at the moment is to slip a cardigan over the top for that casual look (even though your wearing a gown!). My favourite? I'm stuck between the two beautiful Alice + Olivia dresses (bottom middle) I think they're so elegant and can make any woman look stunning.

  1. Ralph Lauren
  2. Michael Kors
  3. Christian Siriano
  4. Jenny Packham
  5. Monique Lhullier
  6. Zac Posen
  7. Oscar De La Renta
  8. Alice + Olivia
  9. Alice + Olivia
  10. Christian Siriano

Hello F-ROW: London's Best Dressed Celeb Front Row

(From left to right) Corrine Bailey, Alexa Chung, Poppy Delevigne, Anna Wintour,  Olivia Palermo, Haley Viera-Newton, Atlanta De Cadenet
The F-ROW of LFW have been looking aaa-mazing. 'Nuff said. Corrine Bailey Rae looked totally sweet in polkadots and kelly green shoes. Harley Viera-Newton and Atlanta de Cadenet joined forces in their respectively styled ensembles preshow at Topshop Unique. I have to say, I was rather disappointed in the Topshop Unique Spring 2013 show. I felt like the collection was too consistent throughout and didn't develop as it progressed. I also thought it was more of a Autumn collection rather than Spring. But, you may disagree. Anyway, Alexa played it preppy and sweet at Margaret Howell's show, even though it's jeans and a grey cardi, she looks so good! How does she always look so good? Another one of my favourite people I look to for style inspiration is Poppy Delevigne. She added metallic heels to a sweet skirt and sweater at the Fashion East show. And another one of my favourite fashionista's is Olivia Palermo, she styled up a leather midi skirt and ankle-strap heels at Antonio Berardi. I love this look, very textural, Autumnal and cosy...and just look at her hair (sigh). Anna Wintour attended a photocall for the official store opening of Rag & Bone on day two of LFW, opting for the label's Southwest-inspired coat to top her signature look. Gorgeous!

Who's your favourite from above? Have seen any of the LFW show's? Please let me know, I'd love to hear all about it!

Review: Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie

I bought the Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie over the weekend as I haven't really ever bought a lipstick before now (other than tinted lip balm and lipgloss) and I've heard so many great views on this so I thought I'd try it out. I chose Berry Smoothie as I wanted a colour that wasn't too bright, purple-y toned like my natural lip colour, fairly glossy and perfect Autumn/Fall.

Three words: I love it. It glides on smoothly, is very pigmented, fairly-high impact but not too bright, lasts up to 3-hours, has subtle shimmer, is a balm texture and is very glossy. It's the perfect colour for me, I was in between this and Macaroon.

Any bad things to say? After about an hour, the glossiness goes and your just left with a stain, which actually I quite like but apart from that - I love it!

I really recommend this for if your looking for a natural, glossy lipstick. Revlon Lip Butters come in lots of different colours to choose from. My favourites are Peach Parfait, Strawberry Shortcake, Berry Smoothie and Macaroon. Let me know any of your favourite Lip Butter colours in the comment box below! Hoped this helped...
