A Life Update.

You're probably wondering where the ol' Tuesday Ten is. Well, as it's two weeks away from my summer gcse exams, I've decided to postpone Tuesday Ten until about 4 weeks time. After that I promise better quality posts - I know they've been a bit slack lately! I completely finish school in about 4 weeks so after that I'll have about 3 months of no school (yes...really!) therefore plenty of time for cool adventures around London, my summer holiday to Switzerland/ Italy and lots more fun summer activities! I'm even thinking of starting a YouTube channel? Let me know your thoughts!

Hope you all are having a good week! I'll try to blog as much as I can but obviously (and unfortunately) school comes first! Speak soon!

My Ultimate Staple: Zara Breton Tee

A wardrobe full of classic, timeless, versatile pieces is one that I love. I guess you could say I'm a sucker for the 'ten-piece' wardrobe that all the French crave. That, but I also love a wardrobe that screams 'risk-taker', Olivia Palermo for example. But for today, I'm talking classics. Classics like my new navy and white striped top from Zara.

It crossed my mind one day that surprisingly, I don't have many 'staples' in my wardrobe and instantly headed out to buy a few pieces. This top is simply lovely; it's organic cotton and really thick in material - no cheap as chips nonsense here. But for such beautiful quality, the price tag is equally jaw-dropping for just £12.99.

I've been wearing this top non-stop since I bought it a few weeks ago - jazzing it up either with a statement necklace and leopard print or with jeans, my Barbour coat and Chelsea boots. This is a great all-rounder and something that I'll be buying more than one of that's for sure. It's time I started investing in more staples - and Zara I'm looking to you.

Tuesday Ten: Holiday Shopping List...

Hey guys! This is just a little list of things I need/ want to buy before I go on holiday! This year I'm going to Locarno, Switzerland/Italy at the end of June - and I'm a little excited to say the least. While visiting Locarno, we're also going to see Lugarno and Lake Como (who knows, we meet even bump into George Clooney?!). Living in England, I don't really have that many beautiful summer pieces that I love, so it's important that I stock up on a few things. I also need to purchase a new camera...hence the random piece of technology amongst all the girly things!
  1. Panasonic Lumix Gf5 camera
  2. Zara Studio Dress
  3. Topshop Cateye Sunglasses
  4. Zara Striped Trousers
  5. Topshop Loafers
  6. Topshop Orange High-Waisted Bikini
  7. Topshop Tan Sandals
  8. Kevin Aucoin Sculpting Powder
  9. Chloe L'eau de Chloe Perfume (I need to restock on this!)
  10. Caudalie Beauty Elixir
Hope you all are having a good week!

Photo Diary: Notting Hill Bound...

Today my sister and I took a little trip into Notting Hill; we didn't plan on doing any shopping (woah, woah, woah) but instead just decided to enjoy the beautiful coffee shops, florists and summery weather.

What I love most about Notting Hill is the quirky coloured buildings. Lightly dusted in pretty pastel shades; they make for the perfect Instagram photo. Exhibit A above.

Then of course, a little OOTD must follow...

Here I'm wearing a Zara jacket (no longer sold but I've seen other versions everywhere), jeans and top are also from Zara (similar jeans here). And guess what? My bag is also from Zara (again, no longer sold but similar here). Sunglasses are from Religion.

After having a quick pit-stop at Starbucks, we headed off to just wander around the streets - envying the gorgeous townhouses. I am determined to live in one of these one day. I will. I will make sure of it.

Then we headed home; saying our good-byes to the ol' Hill. See you next time.

I Wish I Was at Coachella.

I hate flicking through Instagram at the moment. One after the other, floods of bohemian girls stand prettily in festival gear, dancing their way under the twilight beside a crowd full of celebrities and music-lovers. Sounds dreamy, right? Coachella is the perfect festival for me; I'm not one for wellies and mud-throwing like Glastonbury. Coachella just looks so perfect; pool parties, Indie-pop music, festival fashion and all-round awesomeness in the midst of the Californian hills. To say I want to be there is an understatement.

Anyway, why don't you all join my in drooling over these incredible snaps from Coachella 2014? Grab the tissues, unless of course you were/ are lucky enough to go.

Tuesday Ten: Fashion Girl Instagram Clichés...

If you follow the Instagram accounts of enough of the fashion flock, you’ll eventually start recognizing certain cliché shots. I'm the first to admit I've snapped a few! In the interest of getting silly/poking fun at ourselves, I’ve created a faux, day-in-the-life narrative of an imaginary fashionista. Click the links for guilty examples!

  1. An art directed shot
  2. Arm PartyOops! Look at the time (and, incidentally, my collection of iconic rings) better get going!
  3. Legfie - a leg selfie on the beach...yes, really.
  4. Flower shot - #obligatoryfreshflowershot
  5. The 'look-what-I'm-drinking' shot
  6. Mani Cam
  7. The Aggressively Staged Desk Shot - 'cos your work desk really is that beautifully messy
  8. The Pastry Pin-Up
  9. The #Shoegaze
  10. The 'I-just-happened-to-walk-past-a-mirror-looking-fabulous-selfie' - first selfie of the day of course #ootd

Please vote for me in the Company Style Blogger Awards 2014 - I would be very grateful!

Details here.

Thank you so much! Fingers crossed!

Morning Skincare Routine.

So here it is: my morning skincare routine. It's nothing special and relatively simple considering I adore skincare and have tons of products stocked up on shelves. But for daytime I like to keep things clean and simple, especially under makeup. My skin is combination (oily in the t-zone, normal on the cheeks) so products mustn't be greasy nor drying. I also suffer from blemishes and acne scars. Well, I won't rant on too long, here's my morning routine for skincare (expect one an evening edition coming soon!)...

Step 1: Cleanse: I received the Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Cleanser on my birthday a few weeks ago and have used it everyday since. It's just the perfect creamy cleanser that gets rid off all the impurities while leaving your skin fresh, bright, hydrated and calm. Bonus point: it smells amazing!

Step 2: Tone: Toner is often a step that many of us leave out or forget, but trust me it makes a world of a difference. Toner relieves the skin of any more impurities the cleanser may have left, and any cleanser residue that may clog pores. However, the Lush Tea Tree Water Toner Mist does a hell of a lot more; it's antibacterial, antiseptic and antimicrobial. It is rich in vitamins and super kind to the skin in general. I seriously recommend.

Step 3: Serum: Another one that we all often leave out; but again, essential. Serums help protect the skin (from everything from pollution to makeup) and are formulated to penetrate deeply into the skin to deliver key ingredients. I love the Body Shop Aloe Protective Serum - it contains prebiotics to reinforce the skin's natural shield. Designed for sensitive skin, this product provides hydration without leaving your skin sticky or oily. A must-have for those with dry skin, optional for oily skin types.

Step 4: Moisturise: I can't get over how amazing the Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre is. It gently cleanses the skin while deeply hydrating and nourishing it. This is a makeup-artist's secret must-have in giving that model glow and I'd like to say I'm one-step there! This is also a makeup a primer but there isn't much it doesn't do! Can't recommend enough.

So there you have it! Hope you all enjoyed this post - thanks for reading!

The annual Company Style Blogger awards have rolled around again this year and I for one want to ask for a massive favour. I have decided to enter my blog into the Company blog awards, why not give it a go? If you want to help me, please click this link! I have entered the category 'Best Teen Style Blogger (under 18). I love my blog so much - it's a great little way for me to escape and relish in the world of fashion. Firstly, you must put your e-mail address and my blog url which is of course www.foxtrotbravo.blogspot.com. Then it is essential that you select the category 'Best Teen Style Blogger (under 18)' and once you have selected that it isn't your blog, you can write why you love this blog if you want! (I do hope you love this blog!) Then you are done and you will have officially made my day!

Thank you all so much - finger's crossed!

Why I Love Emma Watson.

I've never really confessed about my love for Emma Watson here on the blog much. But yes, I have a crazily, unhealthy obsession for her that has skyrocketed within the last 72 hours. Here's why. On Sunday she arrived at the UK premiere of Noah, dressed like an absolute goddess; she chose a one-of-a-kind white silk column halter evening dress with a hand-pleated silk georgette panel by Ralph Lauren. She also gave some edge to her glamorous look by wearing a selection of gold rings by Monica Vinader, bracelets and studded earrings. Completing the look, Emma accessorised with a small silver clutch bag and wore white court shoes which tied in with her dress perfectly.

Other than Emma's impeccable style, it's probably her innocence and personality that captivates me so much. Nowadays, it's normal to see Miley and Bieber being wild divas (that were once innocent child-stars), but with Emma, equally growing up within the spotlight as a child, she is just your normal girl-next-door. No publicity-stunt-boyfriends, no tattoos, no drunkenness, drugs or diva demands - Emma is the perfect role-model every girl should follow.

Emma's style is very clean, gamine and minimalistic. Her androgynous approach towards feminine pieces creates a sexy outlook to every outfit. She is bold and daring with her style choices; and with her gorgeous skin, makeup and hair, she can rock anything and look uh-maz-ing. Below are some of my favourite fashion and beauty looks of hers from the past few years.

If that doesn't win you over, this will. She was also a Burberry girl. Sold.
