The catwalk

Burberry Prorsum's autumn/winter 2014 show started to a backdrop of a water-coloured London skyline, and it wasn’t long before it flowed onto the catwalk. Christopher Bailey is the king of the cover-up - be it the trench, the biker or the cape - which came hand-painted with simple florals, leaves and abstract decoration in flushed brushstrokes. For those that hadn't been decorated, long scarves in punchy patterns injected vibrancy.

It was an unusually loose and fluid collection - everything swished and swirled as the models moved - though light-as-air silk-chiffon and lace dresses and those scarves cinched together at the waist created a restraint, giving balance. Overall, it reflected Bailey’s menswear collection in January - the scarves, the sheepskins and those bags.

As ever it was the famous front row that grabbed the most attention. Anna Wintour, Olivia Palermo and Harry Styles joined Bradley Cooper, fresh from the BAFTAs, who was there to support girlfriend Suki Waterhouse. Joining her was the usual Burberry roll call: Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Edie Campbell, Matilda Lowther, Malaika Firth and Charlotte Wiggins. He showed his appreciation of the top-model participation by sending each of them out for the finale wearing a blanket personalised with their initials, in doing so, creating the new trophy piece of the season.

I didn't think I could love Burberry anymore than I did. But turns out I can.

What was you favourite look from the catwalk?
