Gala Gonzalez, also known as the girl behind Amlul.com, is my new style icon of the moment. Her style is quintessentially British (urban and eclectic yet sophisticated and chic) but with a slight Spanish touch. Each look appears so effortless, as if she nonchalantly threw it on in the morning without any thought. Gala's style doesn't have one of those annoying labels like 'preppy' or ''elegant chic' as each and every look is diverse which is what makes it interesting and exciting. Click below to read more:

Well it's been a very long time since I've done one of these (well...July). I should really keep a blog schedule, I am so forgetful! I haven't done much since the last Instagram catch-up apart from you know, bump into Kate and Wills, as you do and purchase a cheeky Jo Malone perfume. Follow me here.
I bumped into some old pals | A naughty Duty Free purchase | Goodies back from Switzerland
Love the blue Naked juice (the green one too!) | FOTD | Laduree macaroons from Paris, from my sister
Artificial flowers | Ooh, what happened here? | Vanilla Chai Yankee Candle

I always think October is a bit of a funny month. It kind of just sits on the calendar with nothing planned for it. It's neither rain or sun, cold or warm, bright or dull, it's all just in the middle. Which makes it a little difficult to dress for. But, here's the fashion forecast: from structured coats and leopard loafers to fluffy knits and ripped skinnies; lust over October's style secrets...
- Structured Coats - I lurve this one!
- Word Print Tees - we've all seen the 'Célfie' t-shirt haven't we...
- Leopard Print Loafers - They add texture and interest to a somewhat minimal outfit.
- Fluffy Knits + Leather - The perfect pairing for perfect autumnal style.
- Ripped Skinnies - Long gone are the days where ripped jeans were tacky and cheap, now they are chic and stylish (if done correctly)!
- Add a Touch of Lilac - Beautiful, soft lilac is great for the transition of autumn to winter.
- A Boyish Jacket - My uniform for October.
- The Leather Jacket - Along with an androgynous one too, the ultimate wardrobe staple is making a huge comeback.
- Polkadots - Ever the cutest way to add interest to a outfit
- Plaid/ Tartan - The perfect way to add the 'Truly British' trend into your October wardrobe.

Okay, so it's not my 16th birthday until the middle of March and it's not Christmas until 3 months but that doesn't stop me thinking about what I would love to get! I've always loved Barbour, their jackets and coats are so...indescribable! My favourites are the waxed and quilted jackets as they have a truly British countryside style (as do all of the Barbour clothes) and will go with anything.
Above is the one I have fallen in love with: it is a brown-y green wax Beadnell jacket with a black corduroy collar. It's lined with beautiful berry-coloured floral print, with the pockets lined with fleece (that'll keep the hands toasty!), but still remains elegantly shaped with seams to add a feminine outline to this relaxed-fit jacket. Available in four country colours (navy, light brown and black) with matching prints (obviously the one I want is my favourite out of the selection), the Printed Beadnell is an excellent, versatile jacket, ideal for those looking for a classic item with a feminine twist. I would pair it with either a white lace dress and red Hunter wellies for an alternative look or skinny jeans and Chelsea boots for a casual, day ensemble.
It comes in at an eye-watering £219 but this sort of garment is a lifetime investment and will last me many winters to come! Also, it is a classic piece so I know that within a few years I will still be head over heels for it. Now all I have to do is write this again to Santa...
What do you want for Christmas/ your birthday?

Now unfortunately this Glossi wasn't somehow working this time, but I've still got it up and running over at the Glossi website. This trend is all about being fabulously British. Us Brits dress best in autumn (hence the iconic Burberry trench and scarf, Hunter wellies, Barbour jacket, Jack Wills gilet...) and the rest of the world is catching on the trend of dressing, well...British. Below is picture-form of the Glossi I made...

Firstly, I apologise for the late Tuesday Ten, I was rather busy yesterday with boring school stuff. Anyway, all I am writing about at the moment is all these fashion shows, they've taken over All Things Foxy. And yet again, we have another. For Audrey it was Givenchy, for me it's Burberry that is my ultimate favourite designer. I love how Burberry is so classically British and sophisticated in every line. However, there was a huge update for Spring 2014: Christopher Bailey was in relaxed mode. He entertained us with soft cashmere sweaters and roomy coats of double-faced cashmere. Not very summery you might cry - but with hail stones rattling the roof just seconds after bright sunshine, who's to judge anything on assumptions about the weather. The palette was pastely passive -Ladurée macaroon colours letting lacy dresses and front-split pencil skirts play tasty filling to the coats, while sheepskin clutches scrunched in one hand added a dash of darker orange or pink. Let's all drool shall we?
So perfectly polished and elegant yet it still holds a slouchy, androgynous feel. Christopher said in an interview that he was inspired by a British rose garden, filled with dusty pastels but with pops of sharp red. The show finished with a usual fantastic finale; the models strutted their stuff down the catwalk while rose petals delicately feel from above. Ahh, if only the show wasn't invite-only...

I am absolutely smitten with Harper's Bazaar accessories editor, Amanda Weiner. Her style is elegant, gamine, edgy and opulent, and rich with texture. All of which I could say describes my style also. I love that each look is so different and that her style is ever evolving (a sign of good, true style). Here are a few of my favourite looks of hers...
