Many Ways To Jazz Up A Boring Ponytail

A simple ponytail can be morphed into lots of new styles. With a little know-how and some practice you'll soon have the best ponytail around.
  1. WRAP IT - Pull a strand out of the ponytail. Wrap it around the top of your ponytail until the hair elastic is hidden.
  2. KNOT IT - Separate your ponytail into six strands. Twist each strand around and around until it forms a loose knot. Pin each knot randomly or back of your head.
  3. CURL IT - Curl the ends of your ponytail with self-sticking rollers. Simply twist the rollers into slightly damp hair and leave them in until it's dry. When you remove the rollers, spritz the curls with hairspray to help them last for ages.
  4. CRIMP IT - Pull a few random strands of hair loose from the ponytail. Crimp them with a heated crimping iron then let the tendrils fall around your face.
  5. PLAIT IT - Simply plait a ponytail and secure the end with a hair elastic or pretty hair bobble.
  6. DIP IT - Grab a sachet of temporary hair dye (the sort that washes out straight away - not permanent or semi-permanent). Follow the instructions on the packet carefully but only apply to the ends of the ponytail. It should look as your ponytail has been dipped in colour. Experiment with spring colours (as these look more fun) like pink, orange, purple or green
